It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask questions about your background, experiences, and strengths to better understand you as a whole person. This session is also a time for you to ask questions, share what feels important, and determine whether this feels like a good fit for you. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Together, we will begin identifying goals and discussing how therapy can best support your needs moving forward. Starting therapy takes courage, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I combine over 20 years of clinical experience with a compassionate, strengths‑based approach to care. I have worked with individuals, families, and groups across both inpatient and outpatient settings, which allows me to bring a broad perspective and steady presence to the therapy space. I believe that you are the expert of your own story. Rather than taking a one‑size‑fits‑all approach, I work collaboratively with clients to build on their existing strengths while developing practical skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My style is supportive, respectful, and empowering, helping clients feel understood while also encouraging growth and meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges at their own pace. Seeking therapy takes courage, and my goal is to meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and support you in creating a more fulfilling and balanced life. The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, or navigating significant life changes. Many of my clients are managing the emotional demands of work, relationships, caregiving, or transitions and are seeking support, clarity, and effective coping strategies. My ideal clients value a collaborative and respectful therapeutic relationship and are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and strengths as part of the healing process. They may feel stuck, uncertain, or emotionally drained, yet have a desire to create positive change and improve their overall well‑being. I am especially well-suited to individuals who appreciate a strengths‑based approach and want to feel empowered in their journey. Whether you are adjusting to a new phase of life, coping with ongoing stressors, or seeking relief from anxiety or depression, I provide a supportive space to help you build resilience, confidence, and a more fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients to help identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that impact emotions and behavior. CBT is a collaborative, goal‑oriented approach that focuses on building practical skills, increasing self‑awareness, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. I tailor CBT interventions to each individual, supporting clients in developing effective coping strategies and applying them to real‑life challenges.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with clients to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. DBT is a skills‑based, structured approach that helps clients manage intense emotions, reduce unhelpful behaviors, and build healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. I tailor DBT strategies to each individual, creating a supportive and collaborative space for meaningful change.
