You may be the person everyone depends on, yet still find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. Maybe you’re navigating a difficult relationship, grieving a loss, struggling with self-esteem, or carrying emotional burdens that have built up over time. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and also a School Social Worker. I believe healing happens when we take the time to understand the experiences, relationships, and life events that have shaped us. Often, the challenges that bring people to therapy are connected to deeper layers of their story that deserve attention, compassion, and understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore what’s weighing on you, gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop tools to support meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life with confidence and clarity.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal if you’re unsure where to begin. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your current concerns, important experiences that may be impacting you, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you can move at a pace that feels right for you (that's right: a judgment-free zone). By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how we can work together and what next steps may be helpful as you move toward your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to balance empathy with honesty. I recognize that people are complex and that healing is rarely about one single issue. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I strive to understand the whole person and the experiences that have shaped them. I create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling supported, challenged when needed, and equipped with practical tools they can apply in their everyday lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and self-esteem concerns. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who are used to caring for others but may struggle to prioritize their own needs. Together, we create a supportive, collaborative space where clients can build coping skills, gain insight, process difficult experiences, and move toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should feel both validating and practical, helping clients better understand themselves while equipping them with tools they can use in everyday life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to distress. Together, we explore unhelpful thinking patterns, build coping skills, and develop practical strategies to manage challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients gain insight while creating purposeful changes they can apply in their daily lives.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, values, and readiness for change. This approach allows clients to identify barriers and build confidence in their ability to make decisions that align with the life they want for themselves. I often incorporate this method when supporting clients through life transitions, relationship concerns, personal growth, and behavior change.

Trauma Informed Care

As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize the impact that past experiences can have on emotional well-being, relationships, and overall functioning. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult experiences. My approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and meeting clients where they are while helping them develop healthy coping skills and build resilience.
