Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), based in Florida. I got my Masters at a holistic-therapy school called California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and I've been practicing for 7 years! I help diverse populations (currently a lot of young adults) struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, and gaining insight/clarity into their next steps.
In or first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into what's really been up for you? What brought you into therapy? What do you see as both possible and realistic goals of therapy -- let's get to it!
Having worked in both community health and private practice for 7 years, I believe my biggest strengths are being both genuinely compassionate and curious about your challenges and obstacles -- how can we collaboratively build solutions and improve the quality of your life?
Solution-focused therapy is an evidence based and goal-directed treatment. This positive psychology focuses on solutions, while also recognizing and addressing problems in the here and now.
I incorporate a holistic perspective (mind-body approach), which is commonly used to treat a variety of chronic health conditions, including depression, trauma, and anxiety.
I have lived and worked with multicultural populations and centers for my whole life! The past 7 years have been focusing on community mental health/systemic support and resources.
