(she/her)
I am currently providing telehealth sessions to individuals ages 18 and up. I am passionate about working with clients who are seeking a space to explore and process relationship challenges, mind/body connection, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, religious trauma, identity, and grief/loss. I draw on diverse resources and therapeutic frameworks to meet each client’s needs, including art, play, bibliotherapy, compassion-focused therapy, family systems, nature-based practices, somatics, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and cognitive behavioral therapies. The purpose of my practice is to enhance wellbeing through developing self-awareness, mindfulness, emotional regulation, relationship building, communication, problem solving, and habit formation. I use creativity and collaboration to discover the methods of healing, communication, and goal-achievement that work best for you and your relationships.
During our first session, I will explain the expectations and limitations of the therapeutic space, giving opportunity to answer any and all questions about my practice. I approach all of my sessions with intentional openness, curiosity, and positive regard. I strive to create a welcoming space to build a strong therapeutic alliance and discover the methods in which we can collaborate to support you in achieving your wellness goals.
I value and appreciate the broadness of the human experience and the depths of each person in their uniqueness. I am dedicated to expanding my clinical and humanistic knowledge in order to meet clients where they are at and provide a supportive, honest space to process life's experiences, gain greater self understanding, and build habits and goals for each person's ideal better life.
I am passionate about working with clients who are seeking a space to explore and process relationship challenges, mind/body connection, anxiety, life transitions, post-traumatic symptoms, religious trauma, identity, and grief/loss.
I adapt my treatment methods according to what best fits client needs, incorporating aspects of ACT, DBT, ERP, IFS, MBSR, SFBT, and other treatment modalities. At the foundation, my treatment approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and compassion focused. What I value most in my practice is the ability to collaborate with clients' unique strengths, qualities, and goals for life!
