Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and am licensed to practice in Florida, New York, and Massachusetts. I received my Masters Degree from New York University (2016), and my Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Florida Atlantic University (2023). I am a dedicated therapist who values client experiences, and I hope to help you accomplish whatever you are looking for!
In our first session together, I will ask you a few intake questions which will help me get to know you and understand any specific challenges you are currently facing. During this process, we will discuss your goals and what you hope to achieve while in therapy.
As a provider, I am inspired by client growth and progress. By providing a safe, non-judgmental place for you to process current issues while fostering exploration and development, I am confident that our therapeutic work will be fulfilling and mutually rewarding.
I have been practicing for 9 years, and have extensive experience in treating individuals with anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorder(s.). My clients are motivated to learn coping skills and strategies to target maladaptive thought patters and improve their quality of life.
