I have been working in the mental health field for 15 years since his getting his undergraduate degree in Psychology and 7 years of experience working in a community mental health agency setting. While working in an acute psychiatric hospital, he decided to earn his master’s degree in counseling. After graduation, I worked as a Project Coordinator for a county-funded program that would provide mental health services for county-funded programs throughout Montgomery County. He also has experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum in school and home settings. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults, individual, couples, family and group therapy. He specializes in working with individuals experiencing trauma, and domestic violence. mood and anxiety barriers, grief, and adjusting to changes in one’s life. I believe that the person seeking help is the one who has control over their treatment and ultimately their lives. He works to tailor your therapeutic experience to match your subjective needs providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapy models with a holistic approach by recommending integrative complementary and alternative therapies – which have been shown to improve cognition and mind-body connection.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During out first session, I will conduct an interview to gather information to see things on a big picture scale. This will lead me to see how I may be able to help in subsequent sessions. I am also a big believer in autonomy. I will aid in getting things going, but I like to promote assertiveness and self advocacy.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a holistic method of treatment. He also utilizes CBT, Trauma therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, person-centered, and mindfulness

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are meeting clients where they are at, challenging them to try and perceive things differently. With my experience, I have seen a multitude of barriers and challenges. Working with those affected by trauma and domestic issues has led me to be able to provide an empathetic and informed interaction.
