During out first session, I will conduct an interview to gather information to see things on a big picture scale. This will lead me to see how I may be able to help in subsequent sessions. I am also a big believer in autonomy. I will aid in getting things going, but I like to promote assertiveness and self advocacy.
I utilize a holistic method of treatment. He also utilizes CBT, Trauma therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, person-centered, and mindfulness
My biggest strengths are meeting clients where they are at, challenging them to try and perceive things differently. With my experience, I have seen a multitude of barriers and challenges. Working with those affected by trauma and domestic issues has led me to be able to provide an empathetic and informed interaction.
