Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I provide compassionate, collaborative telehealth counseling for adults throughout Colorado in a space where you can feel heard, respected and supported. I specialize in helping clients navigate addiction and recovery, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, stress and emotional regulation. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered and tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing, we'll work together to better understand what's keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills and create meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can bring a mix of emotions, and it's completely okay if you're unsure where to begin. Our first session is designed to help us get to know one another in a comfortable, supportive environment. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing and what you hope to gain from counseling. I'll also ask about your personal history, relationships, strengths and previous experiences with mental health so I can understand the bigger picture. There is no expectation to tell your entire story during our first meeting. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you remain in control of what you choose to share. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and creating a treatment plan that fits your needs. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling heard, supported and confident that you don't have to face life's challenges alone.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe the strongest therapeutic relationships balance compassion with honesty. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable and easy to talk to, while also appreciating that I gently challenge unhelpful patterns when it supports their growth. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself while also feeling empowered to make meaningful changes. Our work together won't focus solely on talking about problems. I believe therapy should provide practical tools that you can apply in everyday life. Whether we're developing healthier coping strategies, strengthening relationships, processing trauma or supporting recovery, I tailor each session to your individual goals and strengths. My aim is to help you gain greater self-awareness, build resilience and leave therapy feeling more confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges. Everyone's story is different, and I believe therapy should reflect that. My role isn't to tell you who you should be or what decisions to make. Instead, I partner with you to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you and build skills that support the life you want to create. I have experience working with adults navigating addiction and recovery, grief and loss, trauma, relationship concerns, anxiety, stress, major life transitions and emotional regulation. I also enjoy helping clients strengthen communication, improve self-esteem and reconnect with their personal values. I know beginning therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you've spent a long time trying to manage everything on your own. Whether this is your first experience with counseling or you're returning after time away, my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where meaningful growth feels possible. Progress doesn't require perfection—it begins with taking one step at a time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults and older adults who are ready to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills and create lasting change. Many of my clients seek therapy because they're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use concerns or significant life transitions. Others simply feel stuck and want support gaining clarity, rebuilding confidence and moving toward a life that feels more meaningful. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you're willing to show up with honesty and curiosity, we'll work together to understand what's getting in the way and identify practical steps toward your goals. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to your unique experiences and strengths. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and trauma-informed care to help clients build resilience, improve relationships, strengthen recovery and create sustainable change. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected and empowered to move forward with confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps us understand the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, challenge beliefs that no longer serve you and develop practical strategies for managing anxiety, depression, stress and everyday challenges. My goal is to help you build skills that continue to benefit you long after therapy ends.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT focuses on building skills to manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships and respond to difficult situations more effectively. We'll practice techniques for emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance and healthy communication so you can feel more confident navigating life's challenges.

Motivational Interviewing

Change can feel difficult, especially when you're unsure where to start. I use Motivational Interviewing to help you explore your goals, strengthen your motivation and build confidence in making meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma can affect how we think, feel and relate to others long after difficult experiences have ended. I provide a safe, supportive space where we'll work at your pace to understand the impact of those experiences, build coping skills and move toward healing without judgment.
