In our sessions together, I'll meet you with empathy, compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the barriers that keep you from moving forward. I have been in the mental health/addiction field for over 30 years and love watching others grow internally and externally. Working as a Grief Recovery Practitioner has also added a unique aspect to my practice as I assist others to tend to their healing and recovery through the grief process. I have worked with many different cultures, ethnicities and ages. Learning how you navigate through life is important to build a solid foundation for us to work within so that you can attain your goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used in conjunction with Trauma Informed Therapy, Grief Therapy etc. to assist with identifying cognitive distortions , maladaptive behaviors and thought patterns that would benefit from a different perspective. And such prompting a healthy healing process for the client.
