My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 17 years. Using CBT, I helped many clients challenge ruminating and negative thought patterns, to reduce anxiety, and cope with their life stressors. CBT helps clients recognize how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. CBT is used to change client's thinking patterns, which helps you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT reduces anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress symptoms and decreases suicidal and self-harming thoughts and behaviors.

Grief Therapy

Grief is specifically designed to help individuals process their thoughts, feelings, and emotions related to the passing of a family member or friend or the ending of a relationship. Grief Counseling can also help individuals adjust to their new life without their loved one and begin to find peace in the midst of a significant loss.

Eclectic therapy approach works well for emotional disorders that often have multiple fronts of concern. Eclectic therapy seeks to directly meet the client and their needs by drawing from multiple therapy approaches in order to select the best treatment for each individual client.

Couples Counseling

Emotion focused therapy (EFT) is an effective couples counseling technique. EFT can help identify destructive patterns in a relationship that begin to interfere with attachments, ultimately preventing two people from bonding.
