I am board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings, from hospitals to outpatient clinics.
My goal is to establish a collaborative relationship with my client in order to provide the best care possible.
First session
Your first session is an opportunity for me to understand you as a whole person, not simply a diagnosis. We’ll discuss your concerns, history, previous treatment experiences, current challenges, and goals. My hope is that you leave feeling heard and understood, with a clearer sense of your options and the next steps in your care.
Strengths
Active listening, attentiveness, and my ability to connect with patients are a few of my biggest strengths.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is an adult who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, difficulty sleeping, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands. They may be seeking care for the first time or looking for a fresh approach after previous treatment. They value being heard, want to better understand their mental health, and are ready to actively participate in their care.
Treatment methods
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly discuss your concerns, stressors, and emotions. We work together to identify healthy coping strategies, build on your strengths, and develop practical ways to manage challenges in your daily life
