Accepting new clients on a case-by-case basis! Please schedule a consultation here and I will contact you directly! My availability listed here is limited and I have extensive times open to fit a variety of needs. Hey there - I'm Lindsey! I'm an Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of Southern Indiana and I see adult clients living in Indiana, Kentucky, and Iowa. I specialize in working with trauma survivors and have extensive experience with first responders, medical professionals, victims of domestic violence, and surviving family members of individuals who have died by suicide/homicide.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My first session is always a 20-30 minute FREE consultation. During this session we will explore what brought you to services and confirm I am the best fit for you. If you would like to move forward with services we will schedule our official intake session and develop treatment plan goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a strong passion for helping the helpers. I've learned throughout my career (both personally and professionally) the challenges our first responders and front-line medical professionals face while "just doing their jobs". I have worked hand in hand with both of these populations throughout my career - which brings another layer of cultural understanding that many therapists just can't fathom. Need to talk about the patient who coded 5 times on shift? Let it out. Have a difficult call-out/run and keep dreaming out the victims? I'm your girl. Lost all hope in humanity after that terrible shift last week? I'm here for it. Isolating from your family because they don't understand? No problem. These are just a few simple situations I'm used to hearing about and it takes A LOT to surprise me anymore - but please don't take that as a challenge! While I specialize in working with these professions, I also have experience working with trauma survivors from many different backgrounds including domestic violence and sexual assault. I have a firm understanding of the legal system associated with these concerns as well, which I learned during my time as a police social worker for 2.5 years.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I utilize EMDR with the majority of my clients for a variety of issues, including anxiety, trauma comma and depression. EMDR is one of my favorite treatment methods as it is very versatile and provides great results.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of the most common types of therapy methods and can help with most issues/stressors by focusing on changing our negative beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors.
