New to Grow
Hello, my name is Julee. I believe the most meaningful way I can help clients is by first taking the time to truly understand them-their goals, challenges, and what success looks like from their perspective. Every client comes with a unique set of circumstances, and I aim to approach each situation with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to listening before acting.
For a first session, I will work on getting to know the client and creating a comfortable, supportive environment. I will explain confidentiality, its limits, and answer any questions about privacy. The client will have the opportunity to talk about what brought them counseling and what they hope to achieve. Together we will identify initial goals or areas of focus for therapy, answer questions, and what to expect moving forward.
I prioritize building a trusting, respectful relationship where client's feel heard and valued. I work with clients to identify goals and develop strategies together, rather than telling them what to do. I recognize that each client brings a unique background, goals, and needs and there is no one-size-fits-all method to effective counseling.
I enjoy working with adolescents, and adults that are open to self-exploration and committed to personal growth, even if they're unsure where to begin. They value a collaborative therapeutic relationship and are willing to engage in the process of learning new perspectives and skills. Their goals may include reducing anxiety or stress, improving relationships, increasing self-confidence, healing from past experiences, developing healthier coping strategies, or navigating life transitions with greater resilience. They are seeking meaningful, lasting change and are ready to take intentional steps toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
