Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Connecticut. I received my Masters from the University of Connecticut and have been practicing for about 20 years. I work with young adults and adults. I am client-centered and my approach is strength based. In my opinion, building and maintaining rapport are one of the most important aspects of therapy. I am trained in EMDR and can use this modality to direct client healing around developmental trauma, adult-onset trauma, depression & mood disorders, phobias, grief & loss, major illnesses and others.
In our first session together, we will explore reasons for you seeking support, as well as, any other relevant information that will help us develop a path to your goals. We will discuss what is important to you and how we can best fit therapy into your current life/schedule. We will discuss specific goals and potential ways to attain them.
Having worked in the field for over 20 years, I have developed a wide variety of skills and approaches to address and sometimes resolve the most common and complicated aspects of life.
I love working with young adults and adults who are experiencing life changes, transitions or major events. I also love trauma work and exploring how the past may impact the present. I am trained in EMDR treatment techniques and love to utilize this method to support clients' healing and growth. I love can work with clients from all walks of life and demographics.

I have worked with children, young adults and adults while using the Strength-Based approach. I believe that this should be the foundation of any treatment.
