New to Grow
Hi, I'm Jessica Jones! I am a licensed therapist and the founder of Resilient Rose Therapy, a solo practice dedicated to helping individuals and couples step out of chronic survival mode and build deeply meaningful, autonomous lives. I chose the name Resilient Rose because I believe that even in the harshest conditions, we all possess an innate ability to heal, grow, and truly bloom. In my practice, I blend evidence-based frameworks like CBT and DBT with somatic, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approaches to support your unique journey. Whether you are looking to challenge anxious thinking patterns, regulate overwhelming emotions, or understand the protective "thorns" of your relationship history, we will work as a collaborative team. Together, we’ll look past surface-level symptoms to build real-time, day-to-day tools that lower daily tension, helping you step into a more relaxed, confident, and resilient life.
Your first session is entirely about planting the seeds for a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. There is no pressure to have everything figured out, and you don’t need to dive into your deepest vulnerabilities or past pains right away. Think of this first meeting as a collaborative, low-pressure conversation where we can explore where you are today and where you want to grow. Here is exactly what we will do during our time together: Create a Safe Container: We will start by reviewing some initial paperwork and discussing confidentiality, ensuring you feel entirely secure and respected in our space. Explore Your Current Landscape: We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy right now—whether that is navigating relationship loops, managing anxiety spirals, or simply feeling fatigued by chronic stress. Map Out Your Path to Blooming: We will look at the modalities that might fit you best, combining practical tools like CBT for immediate relief with attachment-based and somatic insights to create lasting, deep-rooted change. Therapy is a team effort. You will have plenty of space to ask me questions about my approach or what our future sessions will look like. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to walk away with a clear understanding of our next steps, a sense of relief, and a concrete, practical strategy you can start using that very same day.
I bring a unique blend of deep clinical expertise, radar-sharp intuition, and genuine, down-to-earth warmth to every session. My greatest strength is my ability to create an environment where you don't have to perform or pretend to have it all together. I excel at taking complex psychological concepts - like nervous system regulation, trauma loops, and attachment styles, and breaking them down into clear, everyday language that actually makes sense to you. I don't just sit back and nod; I am an active, collaborative partner in your healing. Clients often share that my sessions feel both incredibly comforting and highly empowering, because I balance deep, compassionate validation with the concrete, practical tools you need to make real changes in your daily life. My approach stands out because I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I look at you as an interconnected ecosystem, not just a list of symptoms. While many therapists focus purely on changing your thoughts (mind) or purely on talking through your feelings (emotions), my work at Resilient Rose Therapy integrates the mind, the body, and your relationship history. By combining interventions with deep-rooted attachment work and somatic nervous system tools, we tackle your challenges from every angle. We don’t just cut away the surface-level anxiety; we look at the root patterns and the protective "thorns" you've built up over time to keep yourself safe. This holistic, tailored approach ensures that you aren't just learning how to cope with chronic stress—you are actively retraining your mind and body to move out of survival mode so you can sustainably grow, heal, and bloom. I'm excited about our journey together!
My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are completely exhausted from living in chronic survival mode. On the outside, you probably look like you have it all together. On the inside, you are carrying the heavy weight of constant anxiety, perfectionism, or repetitive relationship loops that leave you feeling isolated and stuck. You might notice that your protective "thorns"—the walls you’ve built to keep yourself safe, or the avoidant patterns you use to handle overwhelm—are now getting in the way of the connections you actually want. Your Mindset & Goals: You don't need to have everything figured out before we start. You just need to be tired of simply getting by and ready to look beneath the surface. My ideal client values an active, collaborative partnership and is open to exploring how the mind, body, and relationship history all interconnect. Whether you are working on your own growth or trying to break through communication gridlock as a couple, your goal is lasting change. You want to learn how to pull the emotional emergency brake, set firm boundaries without guilt, and retrain your nervous system for genuine calm. If you are ready to do the work to move past surface-level fixes so you can truly heal and bloom, we will make a great team.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I've been using CBT in my practice for the past fifteen years. It's many clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We'll use CBT to examine how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact. We'll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, helping you lead a more relaxed, less stressful life.
Trauma Informed Care
I treat Trauma-Informed Care as a foundational lens for everything we do in our sessions, ensuring you never feel judged or rushed. We will use this approach to look at how past stress, overwhelming experiences, or systemic pressures might still be impacting your nervous system and behavior today. By creating a predictable and entirely safe environment, we’ll use this framework to gently guide your body out of chronic survival mode at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I draw from DBT to give you a powerful, practical mental "emergency brake" for when your emotions feel completely overwhelming. We will use DBT to build up your distress tolerance and learn real-time skills to regulate intense emotional storms. We'll then use these concrete strategies to help you navigate difficult days, communicate clearly during conflicts, and stay grounded without feeling consumed by stress.
Attachment-based
I incorporate Attachment-Based Therapy to help you make sense of how you give, receive, and expect love in your adult life. We’ll use this modality to explore your early relationships and identify your specific relational triggers—like why you might feel the urge to pull away or why you experience sudden anxiety with people close to you. We'll then use that insight to break old, painful communication loops and build secure, balanced, and trusting connections with the people who matter most.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I utilize EFT to look past surface-level arguments and focus on what truly matters: your emotional bond and feeling secure with your loved ones. We will use EFT to map out the repetitive, frustrating cycles that cause distance between you and your partner or family members. By exploring the deeper needs underneath those patterns, we'll use this framework to defuse tension, heal old hurts, and rebuild a lasting sense of emotional safety and trust.
