New to Grow
I want to support you where you are most comfortable. I offer both Telehealth & Home-Based (in-home/house call) counseling/therapy. I specialize in the complexities of the life journey with all its transitions. I understand the unique emotional and existential pressures that accompany significant life events. Whether you are navigating the demanding role of a caregiver, processing grief, or facing a difficult health diagnosis, I provide a structured, compassionate environment where you can find both clarity and relief.
During our first session, I hope to learn about you and what helped you decide to start therapy. We will have a conversation, and work together to develop a plan for the journey forward.
I offer unique practice experience which provides a rich framework from which to identify strengths and potential challenges. Working together, you will move from a state of survival to stability. Allow me to provide support and guidance you as you identify specific coping strategies that lower daily stress, manage the emotional burden of life, and restore a sense of balance. My goal is to support you in maintaining dignity and presence throughout life’s most significant chapters.
I specialize in supporting adults facing health‑related transitions, shifting family roles, and the emotional impact of caregiving and loss. I also welcome clients seeking support with end‑of‑life concerns or guidance through complex health and residential care systems. I work with referring professionals to ensure continuity of care, clear communication, and a shared understanding of the client’s needs. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, more understood, and more equipped to move forward in a way that aligns with what matters most to them.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individual clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns of thinking that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, or challenges associated with life transitions, and we work to develop healthier, more balanced perspectives and practical coping strategies. This treatment method can provide clients with tools they can use outside of therapy, including problem-solving skills, emotional regulation strategies, communication skills, and techniques for managing stress and difficult emotions.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop the ability to navigate difficult thoughts, emotions, and life circumstances without allowing them to define or control their lives. My approach focuses on helping clients understand and make room for difficult emotions rather than feeling that they must eliminate or avoid them. Together, we explore personal values, identify what truly matters to the client, and develop practical ways to take meaningful action even when life feels challenging. ACT can be especially helpful when clients are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, caregiving challenges, difficult life transitions, or circumstances they cannot completely change. I help clients learn to respond to difficult thoughts with greater self-compassion and perspective while focusing their energy on the choices and actions that are within their control. My goal is not to ask clients to simply “think positively” or accept things they find unacceptable. Instead, I help clients build the skills and confidence to acknowledge what they are experiencing, clarify what matters most to them, and move forward in a way that is consistent with their values and sense of purpose.
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients develop greater self-compassion and reduce harsh self-criticism. Together, we work on understanding difficult emotions, challenging negative self-talk, and developing a kinder, more supportive way of relating to themselves. My approach helps clients build emotional resilience, increase self-acceptance, and learn to respond to themselves with the same understanding and compassion they would offer to someone they care about.
I use grief therapy to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to process grief and loss. Grief can come from any significant loss—not only the death of a loved one. It may include changes in relationships, health, independence, identity, home, work, or other important parts of life. Together, we work through difficult emotions, adjust to change, honor what has been lost, and find healthy ways to move forward while making space for healing and meaning.
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they have developed about themselves and their lives. Together, we identify unhelpful beliefs or patterns that may be holding them back and explore the strengths, experiences, and values that are also part of their story. My goal is to help clients see that their challenges do not define who they are and discover new perspectives that support greater confidence, hope, and meaningful change.
