I am passionate about helping clients who struggle in relationships develop a stronger, healthier relationship with themselves and others. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their values, identify what is most important to them, and design the life they truly want. Through our work together, I support them in clarifying their goals, overcoming obstacles, and taking meaningful steps toward achieving a fulfilling and intentional life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, the focus will be on you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll start by learning about your reasons for seeking support and exploring what you hope to gain from our work together. If you’ve had prior experience with therapy, I’ll ask about that and what it was like for you, so I can understand what has or hasn’t worked in the past. Before we meet, you’ll complete some initial documentation, and during the session, I’ll ask follow-up questions to clarify the information you’ve shared. I’ll also take a few minutes to tell you about myself, my approach, and how we can work together. Most importantly, this session is about creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable to begin your journey toward the changes you want in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my greatest strength is my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I excel at helping individuals identify their core values and goals, guiding them toward meaningful change with a collaborative and client-centered approach.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am most qualified to work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected in their personal lives or relationships. This includes those struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, or relational challenges, who are seeking to better understand themselves and their needs. I excel at guiding people who are ready to gain clarity on what they truly want, align their actions with their values, and create meaningful changes in their lives. My approach is ideal for those who are open to self-reflection and committed to personal growth, even if the path forward feels uncertain.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and experienced therapist, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my practice to support clients in aligning their actions with their core values while fostering psychological flexibility. ACT’s focus on mindfulness, acceptance, and commitment aligns seamlessly with my approach to empowering clients to live meaningful and value-driven lives, despite the challenges they face.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach in my practice to help clients understand how early relational experiences influence their current emotional patterns, behaviors, and relationships. By exploring attachment dynamics, I support clients in identifying unmet needs and developing healthier ways to connect with others. This approach fosters a sense of safety and trust, empowering clients to build stronger, more secure relationships while healing from past wounds.

EMDR

I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process and resolve distressing memories and trauma. By using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, I guide clients in reprocessing painful experiences, reducing their emotional intensity, and reframing negative beliefs. This method allows clients to move toward healing and resilience, freeing them from the grip of past events and improving their overall well-being.
