Hello! I am excited to be here and dedicated to helping individuals and their families find happiness and reach their full potential. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

As your therapist, I will guide you towards a path where therapy will mark a new beginning in your life. I will listen to your needs, provide support, explore goals, encourage you to reach your full potential, and help you create the greatest version of yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach, tailored to your well-being, is CBT-based, as I endorse the theory that thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. I also incorporate components of family systems, narrative, and solution-based person-centered techniques in working with clients. True healing starts with the therapist understanding the client, whether the client is anxious, depressed, fearful, ashamed, sad, guilty, or angry about anything in his or her life. We all have an untold story to tell, and I am ready to hear yours.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a multicultural and multiracial therapist and I have experience working with teens, adolescents, and adults. I help them create the best version of themselves. When we understand ourselves better, we can learn what is important to us. As your therapist, I will help you identify what matters most and guide you towards achieving the goals you set for yourself.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Helping clients feel better by learning how to change their negative thoughts into positive ones, resulting in positive feelings and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to build healthy habits, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop effective tools for managing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, and other life challenges. My goal is to empower clients to make meaningful, lasting changes by fostering resilience, increasing self-awareness, and promoting healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's experiences.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Learning to change the things you can to make a difference. Rather than struggling to eliminate difficult thoughts and emotions, ACT teaches clients how to accept internal experiences with greater openness while focusing their energy on meaningful action. Together, we will identify the values that matter most to you, increase mindfulness and self-awareness, reduce the impact of unhelpful thoughts, and build practical skills for responding to life's challenges with resilience and purpose. ACT is an evidence-based approach that can be effective for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, chronic pain, grief, and life transitions, helping clients create a richer, more fulfilling life even in the presence of emotional difficulties.

Trauma Informed Care

I will create a safe physical and emotional space, build trust, and avoid re-traumatization during care. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, heard, and in control of their healing journey. I understand that traumatic experiences can influence how individuals think, feel, relate to others, and respond to stress. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable, building coping skills, emotional regulation, resilience, and a sense of safety while honoring your strengths and lived experiences.

Couples Counseling

I provide couples counseling to partners seeking to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and navigate life's challenges together. Whether you are experiencing conflict, rebuilding trust after betrayal, adjusting to major life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where both partners can feel heard and understood. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices that help couples identify unhealthy interaction patterns, develop healthier communication skills, deepen emotional intimacy, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Together, we will build on your relationship's strengths while addressing the challenges that stand in the way of a healthier, more fulfilling partnership
