Hi, welcome! I am Laura Phillips a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a 13 years of mental health experience. Currently, I specialize in supporting clients, ages 18-65+, navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, co-dependency, grief and loss, and other life transitions. First session

During our first session, you will have the opportunity to share your story and explore your goals for therapy. From there, we will work together to create a space that encourages, supports, and fosters growth and healing.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thoughts, understand how these thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier coping strategies. Through practical techniques, CBT builds confidence, improves emotional regulation, reduces anxiety and depression, strengthens problem-solving skills, and supports resilience in everyday challenges and relationships. In addition to traditional CBT, I also use a faith-based approach as I believe that utilizing one's spiritual beliefs are pivotal in the process of healing.

In one session its a little difficult to identify a therapists traits let alone know them well enough to answer multiple choice, pick two, personality options. Especially when I can get off on tangents and take up most the time talking. That said, it was a total pleasure and I look forward to seeing how this goes.
