New to Grow
Thank you for considering therapy as part of your journey. I provide counseling for teens and adults facing challenges and life stressors. I provide a non judgmental space and welcoming to individuals of all walks of life. I work with individuals who are experiencing, anxiety, depression, trauma and major life changes. Our work will be collaborative and goal focused, helping you better understand your experiences, strengthen resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a time for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll ask some questions about your background, relationships and emotional well-being to better understand the full picture of your experiences. There's no pressure to share everything at once- we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable and safe for you. By the end of our session, we'll begin identifying goals and discuss next steps for your care.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my biggest strengths is building genuine, trusting relationships with my clients. I strive to make therapy feel approachable and collaborative. clients often appreciate may ability to listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and provide tools that are both practical and powering. I use strength based and client centered approach to therapy. I incorporate trauma focused care andcognitive-behavioral therapy approaches in my practice.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, impacted by past trauma, or navigating difficult life transitions. My clients may feel "fine" on the outside but internally feel anxious, discouraged or burdened by past experiences. They might be adjusting to a major life change - such as a move, relationship shift, academic pressure, career transition, or loss. They may feel stuck, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted, yet they are open to self-reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process. Even if they feel nervous about seeking therapy, they are seeking a supportive, nonjudgemental space where they can better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT has been particularly effective in my work with clients experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, stress-related conditions, low self esteem and adjustment difficulties. I help clients identify and modify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I incorporate principles and interventions from DBT to support clients who struggle with emotional dysregulation, impulsivity ,interpersonal difficulties and high risk behaviors.
