Provider Resource Hub: App & AI

Built for safety, designed to support your care

Discover how the Grow app strengthens your care between sessions with tools that reinforce your work and built-in safeguards to protect your clients. Explore key features, safety guardrails, and ways to integrate it into your practice.

Our vision for connected care

Clients told us they wanted support between sessions — so we built an app with your practice at the center of their care:

  • The app helps clients easily book appointments, join sessions,
and message you
  • They’ll get reminders to finish exercises you assign in the therapy toolkit
  • They can practice skills raised in your sessions with our AI coach

We designed the app to deepen the work you do together, by giving you visibility into clients’ progress outside of sessions and greater insights into their care experience.

Clinically informed AI: coach

Here’s the reality: Over 1/3 of Americans (34%) are comfortable using AI for mental health support, with nearly half preferring these tools be integrated into existing therapy, not used on their own (source).

And in a recent survey of 553 Grow clients, about 1/4 said they’ve tried AI for mental health, often turning to it in emotionally charged moments when they needed support and couldn’t wait until their next session.

Instead of leaving your clients to navigate general AI tools on their own, we built coach as a clinically informed alternative with built-in guardrails that integrates with your care. Clients can use it for free while they’re working with a Grow provider.

How to explore coach

We’ve created an experience that allows you to try coach
yourself — without downloading the app — to see how it can complement your work with clients.

We encourage you to test it out to see the thoughtful interactions and safety guardrails we’ve put in place.

As someone who’s spent years working directly with providers on clinical quality and safety, I’m excited about what our mobile app represents for the future of therapy — connected care that makes life easier for providers and clients.

But what I’m most proud of is coach, our AI-powered support feature. We’ve built multiple safety layers, maintained provider oversight, and — most importantly — listened to what providers told us they needed: control, transparency, and tools that enhance rather than complicate their work.

This isn’t about replacing clinical judgment — it’s about giving providers better information to make those judgments and giving clients safe support between the sessions that matter most.

What our providers think of coach

Coach helps my clients feel more confident and equipped between sessions, giving them agency to practice skills and build trust in themselves. As a provider, it’s reassuring knowing they have support even outside of session.
Shanique Walker, LCSW
Coach is an added benefit that supports my clients between sessions by providing safe, effective, and clinically backed skills. It also offers another level of accountability by keeping me updated and involved, without taking away from my other responsibilities. I would recommend coach to other professionals who want to reassure their clients of continued clinical support between sessions and encourage self-regulation.
