Hi there, I am Jen. Do you want to improve the quality of your life? Do you want to make long-lasting changes that improve areas of your life such as work and relationships? I empower clients to overcome the daily challenges of dealing with such issues as depression (or other mood disorders), anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, and grief. I'm here to help clients (ages 10 & up) get back to a place in their life where they feel more balanced, secure and to a place where they feel happy with their overall quality of life. I do believe in a holistic approach that focuses on the mind-body-spirit connection. I utilize various techniques that include mindfulness, helping you identify and address irrational thoughts, motivational interviewing and more. I work with clients to identify treatment goals at their 1st appointment, if possible and I also like to assign therapeutic "homework" since this helps clients practice and eventually acquire the skills they need to feel better about themselves and their lives. No matter the issue, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy is a brave thing to do and I will provide a safe space to help you heal and grow. In our sessions, I will provide empathy, active listening and humor to help you overcome what is troubling you. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

So glad you're here! I am an LCSW, licensed in NC and SC. I believe in taking a collaborative, tailored approach to helping my clients feel better and live a life of contentment, whatever that looks like! I love it when my clients consider their sessions a SAFE, relaxed, open space to express themselves freely without fear of judgement, whatever they're going through. I firmly believe in the power of connection in emotionally safe spaces to help us work through our toughest "stuff," and it's such an honor and privilege to help my clients feel loved, heard and understood! I want my clients to consider therapy THEIR time, and I hope they leave sessions feeling a little more hopeful, heard, unburdened and ready to get back to their lives.

Hey! I am happy that you are here :) You deserve to be seen and heard, just as you are. Navigating late-stage capitalism can feel overwhelming, isolating and yucky. We live lives of stress, pain, existential dread and go through the motions to get by. But there has to be more....right? I believe that within the context of relationship, healing can occur. The therapeutic bond and trust we build is where the work begins. I serve as a warm witness as you begin your journey toward the life you want to create. My approach to therapy is transpersonal, humanistic and deep. I view things from both a systems and attachment perspective. In my own healing journey, I struggled to identify with the Medical Model approach to treatment, focused on "managing" ourselves and numbing or altering symptoms with coping strategies rather than a deeper exploration. I believe it is important to break down the assumption that human suffering is purely a genetic biochemical or neurophysiological process. There are larger systems at play that influence us and the way we feel in the world. It is critical to acknowledge the impact that systems of oppression have on individuals, communities, and society at large. I try to put into perspective how the privileges I hold impact the way that I am able to navigate the world. I enjoy working with clients who also want to engage in unraveling their relationship to capitalism. I am a white, cis-gender female. I am neurodivergent, queer, chronically ill and a survivor. I am the eldest daughter of an immigrant. I exist and reside on land stolen from the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families in clinical settings since 2015. My experience includes direct care work at a residential treatment center for adolescents, interning at a psychiatric hospital for youth and adolescents, a wilderness therapy program and a residential substance abuse treatment program for pregnant and parenting women. I also supported children and families on the Qualla Boundary as a therapist on the Integrated Child Welfare Team. I love working with individuals who are anxious, ADHD/ASD, traumatized, hyper-aware, interested in understanding themselves better, neurodivergent, high masking, highly sensitive, people pleasers, highly intuitive, symbolic thinkers, ✨magical✨, LGBTQIA2S+, survivors of intergenerational trauma.

Hi. I am a LPC in Georgia and a LCMHC in North Carolina. Additionally, I am a Nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I received my master's degree from VCU in 2015, became licensed in 2020, and have been practicing on my own ever since. I live by two mottos "It takes a village" and "take time for you". It is important to “take time for yourself,” because we need time to recharge, so that we can continue to persevere. However, there comes a time in everyone’s life where the support of the village is needed. That’s why I believe “it takes a village” and working together as a team is important. Whether it is a clinician and client duo, or a team of medical professionals, we can achieve reasonable and practical goals.

Hi! I'm Jasmine and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been practicing therapy for 6 years. I obtained a Bachelors in Psychology in 2010 at Eastern Michigan University and completed my Master of Social Work at Johnson C. Smith University, graduating in 2017. Do you have a hard time with change and life transitions? Do you feel overstimulated and unable to ground yourself? Do you feel isolated or "different" from everybody else? Are you exploring your identity, sexuality, or self-image? Are you seeking a therapist who can provide an atmosphere where you feel comfortable enough to vent, find relief, and explore your story– however unconventional it may be? Do you crave a space where you can find yourself or be encouraged to be the expert on your life while being held accountable for your goals? If you want to live a life that aligns with your values or true identity while communicating and reinforcing your boundaries, I can help you get there. Together, using strength-based and person-centered therapy with a psychodynamic touch (and a healthy dose of humor), we can partner and begin your journey to building the confidence to be who you are and enhancing your strengths. Finally, feel self-assured in your value and speak up for what you want in your life, relationships, and career. If you’re ready to build a happy, thriving life while being true to yourself, let’s chat today. I come from a military family that has been located throughout the United States, allowing me the opportunity to meet people from varying cultures and backgrounds. This has contributed to my ability to become more culturally competent and open-minded when working with different clients. When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m... Either out and about on the town attending open mics, enjoying brunch, having fun at concerts or at home watching the Food Network, cartoons, dramas, and comedies.
