As adults, we are responsible for resolving the traumas that have happened to us, to pick up the pieces and put ourselves back together, not because we are to blame for our experiences, but because we are the only ones who CAN change them. That can feel unfair, and it is, there is no doubt about that. On the flipside it can also be empowering- you are the catalyst for personal change, you can always take a turn or step in a different direction, you can always act differently, feel differently, and (with the right tools and assistance) start the healing process. I am here to help you with this noble, and sometimes difficult work. As a mental health professional, I am passionate about helping others feel more whole, hopeful and effective by developing deeper self-knowledge, self-respect, compassion, resilience and further developing our coping skills to take on the challenged life throws your way. I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief to assist clients in reducing distressing thoughts and emotions. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I collaborate with my clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns contributing to their symptoms. Through a combination of cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation techniques, and mindfulness practices, I help my clients develop healthier coping mechanisms and increase resilience in the face of life's challenges.

My first focus as a therapist is to foster a space where you can be yourself. Where you can say or feel anything. I try to do this by listening, affirming, being curious, and collaborating with you to find a better way forward. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience. Currently, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship problems, meaninglessness, and the residual impacts of past traumas. I do my best to acknowledge the many ways in which social, cultural, and economic inequities shape how we understand ourselves and interact with the world.

As a licensed mental health clinician and certified integrative nutritional counselor in Massachusetts, I understand the challenges people face in navigating everyday life, especially when unexpected circumstances add further complexity. The coping strategies we once relied on often prove ineffective in such situations. True healing isn't about pushing harder—it's about finding balance. Often, the more we strive, the more chaos we create. I believe in the power of acceptance and shifting your mindset to remove obstacles. By honoring the four pillars of wellness—mind, body, spirit, and environment—we can work together to achieve your health goals.

I love my profession! I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (independently licensed in FL and MA) for over 25 years with experience working with adults and adolescents, both female and male, inspiring hope while working together to develop essential life skills and healthy coping tools. I take a strength-based approach as I believe everyone can grow and change. The hardest and most important step is reaching out and asking for help, so you are on your way to a better place in your life. Do you find that you tend to dwell on the past and things you can’t change? Do you worry about the future, the what if’s and things you cannot predict? Do you find that you are so busy in life, maybe taking care of others, putting their needs ahead of your own or you forget or don’t feel you have time to take care of yourself? That’s where I can help. I specialize in treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosocial stressors/major life changes, self-esteem building, social skills, trauma and grief. I am very knowledgeable about mental health diagnosis' however I concentrate less on the actual diagnosis because a mental illness does not define who you are. I am here to help guide you to a happy and healthy place in your life.

Are you a parent of a high-achieving adolescent or college student who seems to be withdrawing from school and from their friends? COVID created treacherous hurdles that high school and college students had to navigate including lack of socializing with peers and not having adequate support from teachers and inadequate learning opportunities for them to develop into confident students. Competition is now relentless due to 24 hour access to social media and kids just don't have enough down time to unplug. Are you a veteran of any of the conflicts in Afghanistan or Iraq? Are you having trouble integrating into civilian life or are traumatic memories of combat preventing you from having healthy relationships? I get it. I served in the U.S. Army from March of 2009 to September 2014 and deployed to Mosul, Iraq as part of Operation New Dawn. I am passionate about helping my brothers and sisters in arms move their lives forward and to find their new normal. I also enjoy helping professional women with life transitions whether that mean a new job, becoming a parent, infertility issues, or pursuing a new career. Please give me a call. Therapy is a collaborative process and I look forward to helping you on your journey.

My name is Krystyna Ksiazek. I live in Massachusetts. I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 30 years (last 1.5 years at Growtherapy) and never got sick of it. Seeing my clients succeed in therapy or their private lives adds meaning to my work. My area of interest is Trauma and Complex-PTSD, Anxiety Spectrum Disorders such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Agoraphobia, phobias, Eating disorders, Depression, and Grief. Also, I have experience in the treatment of anger management problems, self-harm behaviors, and dissociative/split personality disorders. I like working with Young Adults, Adults, the Elderly, men, and women. I like to reach out beyond the traditional scope of therapeutic interventions to alternative medicine based on the homeostatic model of health. I want to help clients build self-confidence and optimism and empower them to face new challenges, grow, and succeed as they never imagined. I like to build therapeutic alliances with the clients, and create an atmosphere where they know and feel that I am there for them and that I understand and support them. I do not mind spending more time with them if this is clinically necessary. Also, under exceptional circumstances, I allowed clients to contact me on the phone outside of therapy sessions to assist them in coping with extraordinary situations, guide them when they struggle with using newly acquired skills. I came to the USA from Poland. I had to start "from the bottom". I have been through many ups and downs and painful personal losses, including my mother, friend, and boyfriend, but I never gave up. My resilience, optimism, and positive outlook did not allow me to accept failure. Contrary, it motivated me to try harder. Most of the time it worked.

My name is Laura and I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016 with my Master's degree in Social Work. I've worked with multiple populations including adults with severe mental illness with comorbid addiction issues, adults and adolescents with acute trauma, adults with anxiety and depression, the geriatric population and crisis intervention. My passion lies working with people in a clinical setting, long term. Have you found yourself struggling to manage daily activities? Are you feeling overwhelmed by constant pressure in your life? Sometimes we feel like things are going well and then we hit a wall out of nowhere. Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety and trying to figure out how to cope with it or the depression is getting worse and you're having a hard time getting out of bed. Please remember, you are not alone. Since the pandemic started in 2020, we’re all working to find our new “normal,” whatever that may look like. I believe in treating the whole person and will gladly help guide you along this path. I am committed to seeing you succeed and live your best life!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience working with people from all walks of life. My work has been in community health centers, medical and psychiatric hospitals, community mental health programs, substance abuse treatment programs, and in private practice. I pride myself in being easy to talk to, a great listener, and an excellent "asker" of the right questions to help people move out of limited or stuck patterns of thinking and being. I have learned so much from doing this work and have also benefitted greatly from being a client of psychotherapy myself, so I am a firm believer in our innate ability to make positive changes where needed as well as to come to a greater level of acceptance and comfort with where and who we already are.
