Hi. I am a Massachusetts licensed psychologist and a certified neuropsychologist. I work with individuals, couples, and families of many cultures and gender identities to help them move through stages of stuckness, grief, and/or misery. The therapeutic process can be negotiated for a short or longer term, based on your own needs and willingness. I serve as a partner in your process.
In our first session together, I’ll want to find out about you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to change. This will help me think about how I can help you and plan our work together.
Having worked with so many different people over the years, of many different cultures, I have been able to help folks to move through a specific stage of life more smoothly and satisfyingly.
To meet the needs of each individual, I draw from my experience with several approaches to therapy, including cognitive, cognitive behavioral, narrative, relational, strength-based, and more.
Family therapy has been a longstanding mode of intervention in my work, particularly for children. Together, we focus on highlighting strengths already in place and build additional strategies to move through the developmental stages of family life with a greater sense of success and satisfaction.
Depending on the preferences of the person or couples requesting therapy, I work with couples when specifically requested and/or when it seems useful to enrich one or more individual therapy sessions.
