My practice assists Black clients across North America who are impacted by a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, and depression through a racially-sensitive treatment approach. We also work with individual clients seeking to improve their self-concept by understanding and processing the impact of historical and generational racial trauma on their relationships with themselves, their families, their friends, and their partners. I am a therapist who strives to fully understand my clients and their needs to create an optimized approach to meet their goals. I specialize in working primarily with individual adult clients to help them deal with issues such as infidelity, communication, stress management, anger management, relationship building, sexuality, etc. At Yolo Therapy, our ultimate goal is the well-being of our clients. For various reasons, many clients are unable to access traditional therapy settings but I do not believe that should prevent them from receiving exceptional services. I have catered my practice to the needs of those who need alternative options to therapy and am here to help you. ****Please note: Your initial session is ONLY TO ASSESS FOR THERAPEUTIC COMPATIBILITY. ****

Are you stressed and overwhelmed by your health, your day-to-day life, or your relationships? As a Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, as well as being a two-time breast cancer survivor and a caretaker for my elderly parents, I can help you to navigate health issues and life stresses more effectively. Life can be difficult for each of us at some point in time, in ways unique to our own circumstances. My goal is to help people through the tough chapters so that they move into better chapters with additional tools to handle challenges and stresses. I don't view people as being broken or needing fixing. We all need someone with whom to sort things through at times, someone who isn't part of our day-to-day mix. In therapy, clients develop more effective expectations by redefining their stresses and challenges, reduce emotional upset and distress by looking at their issues from a new angle, and feel empowered by trying new approaches to effective problem-solving. I would be pleased to walk this journey with you, to reduce stress and find a more satisfying approach to life. Available appointments are those set aside specifically for intakes. I see clients through Grow Therapy on Monday and Tuesday. I cannot do letters, FMLA forms or provide disability opinions for clients who have not already been involved in therapy with me for at least several months. While I really enjoy working with individuals aged 65 and older, due to Medicare regulations, I cannot see traditional Medicare clients for self-pay. I can see those seniors with Medicare Replacement plans which are accepted by Grow Therapy. I only work with individuals, and do not do marital or family therapy.

I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of therapeutic settings, including schools, partial‑hospitalization programs, a child‑advocacy center, and a private practice focused on trauma and child‑centered play therapy. These experiences have allowed me to support children, teens, adults, and couples through many different seasons of life. Along with Play Therapy, my passion lies in Narrative Therapy—helping people uncover the stories that shape their lives and supporting them as they create new, preferred narratives that reflect their strengths, values, and hopes.

I'm Rebecca Cooper, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years of experience in the field. My work blends solid clinical training with somatic and nervous-system-based approaches, and I have a particular passion for supporting women through deep personal transformation and helping them step more fully into their own leadership and sense of self. That focus shows up in how I approach every session, not just addressing symptoms, but through helping clients build a genuinely different relationship with themselves. My approach is grounded, warm, and real, yes, but also practical and results-focused. I'm not interested in sessions that feel good in the moment but don't lead anywhere; I want clients to leave with real, usable shifts, not just a sense of having talked something through. I believe lasting change happens at the level of the nervous system, not just the surface, and I love walking alongside clients as they discover that for themselves, at whatever pace feels right for them.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) and seven years of experience supporting individuals through difficult and often life-changing experiences. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel understood while building practical tools for meaningful change. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and the emotional impact of difficult or traumatic experiences. I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, which allows me to help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and build skills that support emotional well-being. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without judgment. Rather than simply focusing on your symptoms, I take time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals. Together, we will identify what is getting in the way and develop strategies that feel realistic and meaningful for you. My goal is to help you feel more confident in managing life's challenges, strengthen your emotional well-being, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

Hello! With over 20 years in the medical field I have begun to understand the complex relationship between physical illness, life transitions, and mental well-being. Add my own personal journey through faith, anxiety, post-partum depression, and a not so perfect health ... I have a unique approach to therapy. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in my Christian faith. I believe that true healing and resilience begin when we know our identity and security in Christ. By understanding who we are and how deeply we are loved by Him, we build the solid foundation necessary to navigate, endure, and overcome the pressures of this world. I provide evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with a foundation of Christian discipleship, helping clients align their thought patterns with psychological health and biblical truth. I also believe true healing and resilience involve the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. My true healing began when I also paid attention to how to best support my body physically. We will also explore how daily physical habits, such as what we eat and how we move, impact your overall well-being.

Hello, I’m A.J., a Licensed Master Level Social Worker from the U.P. of Michigan. Faith, Family, and Fellowship are things that I strive to live for daily. My faith is very important to me. I am involved in Men’s Ministry inside and outside of my church. Haggai 2:9 is a verse that is close to my family's heart: “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the Lord Almighty, in this place I will grant peace, declares the Lord Almighty.” My goal and prayer is that I can help individuals move into a better place than they were when therapy first began. My wife and I have three boys and one grandson. Our family enjoys spending time outside on our 20-acre property “Creation Acres” or getting away camping. My boys and I enjoy spending time in the woods or on the lake. I graduated from Ferris State University in 2018 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work after attending Lake Superior State University completing Criminal Justice / Public Safety Emphasis Bachelor’s Degree and a Paramedic Technology Associate’s Degree in 2008. I have experience working directly with law enforcement as a dispatcher and working in the public safety field as a fire fighter and as an EMT. I currently work for the Michigan Department of Corrections as a mental health specialist. Prior to this career, I worked for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services as a foster care case manager and a juvenile justice / juvenile delinquency case manager. I look forward to working with you during your journey. NOTICE – Due to my current position with the Michigan Department of Corrections, I am unable to accept referrals or work with anyone on parole or probation.

I'm Jeff, an LCSW and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and I founded Rogue Sun Counseling & Consulting to work with adults navigating trauma, substance use, or both. Before launching this practice, I served as Clinical Director at a residential addiction treatment center and later as Executive Director at two wellness centers, where I oversaw clinical programming for hundreds of clients working through substance use disorders, trauma, and the broader mental health challenges that often accompany both. That experience shaped how I practice now: I don't assume every client's story fits a single mold. Some clients come to me specifically for trauma, with no history of substance use at all. Others are focused entirely on changing their relationship with alcohol or drugs, with no significant trauma history to speak of. And some are working through both, where one has clearly fed into the other. My job is to figure out how I can best meet you where you are, drawing on years of leadership in addiction treatment alongside trauma-focused clinical work, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach to every person who walks through the door.

Growing up in Metro Atlanta, Autumn saw firsthand the gaps in mental health representation—and she made it her mission to become the therapist she wished she had. With a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Addiction Counseling from the University of North Georgia, she dedicates her career to showing up for the communities that have been overlooked for far too long. Autumn's journey has taken her through adolescent and adult rehabilitation centers, where she witnessed the power of breaking cycles and reclaiming lives from substance use. For the past four years, she has served as a school-based therapist, walking alongside children and adolescents during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Therapist. I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I finally connected with my purpose. Therapy truly is my heart job. Even before becoming a therapist, I was the person my friends would call when they needed someone to talk to, someone to listen, or someone to help them work through a difficult situation. I’ve experienced my own trauma and difficult seasons, so I understand that sometimes life can feel heavy, overwhelming, and confusing. Becoming a teen mom was a turning point in my life. I knew I wanted more for myself and my family, and I wanted to create a different future. I went to college with the goal of healing, growing, and learning how to help others do the same. Today, I’m passionate about helping people find their purpose, work through the things that have been holding them back, reach their goals, and build healthy and supportive relationships. I want my clients to feel comfortable being their real, authentic selves without fear of judgment. I believe in **practicing what I preach**. If I’m asking you to try something, challenge yourself, set a boundary, or look at something differently, it’s because I believe in the process and understand that change can be uncomfortable. Most importantly, I believe **we all have answers within us**. Sometimes life, trauma, fear, or circumstances make it difficult to see them. My role is to help you uncover those answers, recognize your strengths, and find your way forward. You don't have to have it all figured out. We can figure it out together.

I view clients through a holistic lens, including mind, body, soul, and spirit, because they are closely tied together. I have traveled all over the world as a missionary, and I loved the life experience I gained and the cultures I experienced. My experience as a teacher and missionary has made me a better therapist and a more open and understanding person as a whole.

I'm Clay and I am offering in-person therapy in Saint Marys, Georgia, and virtual therapy for those who feel exhausted from struggling with anxiety, overthinking, and challenging relationships. I am a compassionate, culturally responsive therapist who believes healing begins when people have space to be fully seen, heard, and understood. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and patterns influencing their emotional well-being. My approach is warm, practical, and individualized. I recognize that mental health does not exist separately from culture, identity, family, spirituality, relationships, or daily responsibilities. I strive to understand the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms. In therapy, I help clients slow down, make meaningful connections, and develop tools they can use in everyday life. I believe clients already possess valuable strengths and insight, even when stress or painful experiences make those qualities difficult to recognize. My goal is to provide room to breathe, space to become, and support for creating lasting, meaningful change.

Hello and welcome! I’m Samantha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth services across Georgia and South Carolina. I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, and adults through some of life’s most challenging and meaningful moments. Sometimes the things we carry don’t look heavy from the outside. You may be managing work, relationships, family, and everyday responsibilities while feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure of where to begin. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can bring all of yourself to therapy and explore what’s beneath the surface at your own pace. I genuinely enjoy getting to know the person behind the struggles and creating a space where you can feel comfortable, understood, and supported. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed, and solution-focused techniques, tailoring each session to you, your needs, and your goals. My hope is that our work together gives you greater clarity, self-understanding, and something meaningful to carry into your everyday life.

My name is Melonee Gibson-Cabrera, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC). I believe that therapy is more than addressing symptoms or receiving a diagnosis—it is an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize what you need, and learn how to navigate life in a healthier and more fulfilling way. My desire to help others began at a young age. Growing up, I participated in community service through my church, including supporting older adults and helping provide food and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. Those experiences strengthened my compassion for others and helped me recognize something that has remained central to my work today: simply living life can sometimes carry an incredible emotional weight. That understanding eventually led me to the counseling profession in 2005 and, in 2018, to opening my private practice in the greater Atlanta area.

I believe the best therapy happens through honest conversation and collaboration. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while helping you build practical skills that create meaningful change. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I value authenticity and often keep an informal tone when it helps clients feel more at ease. Rather than telling you what to do, I work alongside you to better understand what's keeping you stuck and help you discover solutions that fit your life, values, and goals. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. I believe that understanding why our minds and bodies respond the way they do can make change feel less overwhelming and more achievable. I'll help you develop practical tools while offering support, encouragement, and a little perspective along the way. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I'll meet you where you are. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build resilience, and create a path forward that feels realistic and sustainable. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy, you just have to be willing to take the first step.

I am a therapist that likes to set goals and work towards getting clients the changes they are seeking: To feel better and to see positive changes in their lives. We will begin by talking and processing the issues and then figuring out what would be most helpful. I believe in listening to what my clients need an developing an individualized approach for each person. Clients would describe me as warm, open, non-directive, and affirming. I ask lots of questions to create further exploration and insight. I believe that the client is the director of his/ her own life and the therapist is a facilitator to help them get to deeper truths within. I work with clients to uncover root causes and treat the deeper issues, not just the symptoms. We come away from sessions with a plan of action for improvement.
