Hi, my name is Dr. Amberlee Stuber-Novak, a licensed clinical psychologist and I am here to help you. Guiding you with processing and working through your concerns/issues that have brought you to counseling is my priority. I am here to help make the transition into counseling, the therapeutic process, and setting and meeting goals as stress free as possible. I look forward to meeting you.
Introductions and getting to know one another, review and/or complete intake paperwork and any additional information that may be needed, and address any questions/concerns you may have. We will set initial goals and draft a treatment plan.

I work with adolescents (13 plus), adults under 65, and adults over 65. I provide outpatient treatment for individuals, which could could consist of meeting more than once a week, weekly, every other week, or monthly. I work with the following concerns; Anxiety, Depression/Mood, Chronic Illness, Women's Wellness, Trauma, Self-Esteem, Parenting, Grief/Loss, and Adjustment/Life Transitions (job loss/changes/retirement, separation/divorce/infidelity, empty nest).

My counseling style is warm, empathetic and interactive and I often utilize a client-centered approach. However, I also incorporate other methods such as CBT in order to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs to help them reach both their short-term and long-term therapy goals at their pace and within their comfort level.
