Hello, I’m Paige. Beginning a journey of self-healing and self-discovery can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and sometimes intimidating—but you don’t have to do it alone. I am here to support and guide you every step of the way, providing encouragement and tools to help you move forward with confidence. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, dedicated to helping individuals discover healthier lifestyle choices that support emotional wellness and personal growth. I believe therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable expressing your authentic self without fear of criticism. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I enjoy working with individuals who are navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or personal growth concerns. My approach focuses on helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and recognize your inner strengths so you can make meaningful and lasting changes in your life. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, exploring your experiences, identifying your goals, and developing practical strategies to help you create the life you desire. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, balance, and greater self-awareness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting space. I will start by explaining how therapy works, including confidentiality, your rights as a client, and what you can expect from the counseling process. We will talk about what led you to seek therapy and what you hope to gain from our time together. You will have the chance to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there is no pressure to tell everything at once. I may ask questions to better understand your current concerns, strengths, and support systems. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying your goals and discuss possible next steps, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and clear about the direction of your care. This approach emphasizes that the first session is not just an assessment, but the beginning of a collaborative partnership focused on your growth and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, and a nonjudgmental presence that helps clients feel safe and supported. I naturally practice reflective listening, reframing, and fostering insight to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. During intense or overwhelming moments, I focus on co-regulation techniques to help clients feel calmer, more grounded, and emotionally supported. I view my role as a collaborative guide, especially for clients navigating life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, or personal growth. One of my greatest strengths is empowering clients to make meaningful life changes that align with their values, goals, and unique needs. I strive to help clients recognize their inner strengths, build confidence, and develop practical tools they can use beyond the therapy session. My work often includes helping clients shift unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and increase self-awareness. I integrate evidence-based strategies while tailoring each session to the individual, ensuring therapy feels relevant and effective. It is especially rewarding to support clients in discovering their purpose, improving their relationships, and creating healthier life circumstances that support long-term emotional wellness and resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are seeking support with anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also work well with clients who may feel stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves and are ready to begin making meaningful changes in their lives. Many of the clients I support are motivated to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns, even if they are unsure where to start. I am especially a good fit for individuals who value a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore challenges at their own pace. I work effectively with clients who are open to building self-awareness, developing coping skills, and practicing new strategies outside of sessions. This includes individuals working toward improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, increasing self-confidence, and creating healthier boundaries. My approach is also a strong fit for clients who are ready to move beyond simply “talking about problems” and want to focus on solutions, personal growth, and practical tools they can use in daily life. Whether clients are navigating grief, trauma, relationship concerns, or personal development goals, I aim to meet them where they are and support them in moving toward greater clarity, stability, and emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I bring extensive experience using a solution-focused approach to help clients navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. This method emphasizes identifying strengths, building on what is already working, and focusing on practical solutions rather than staying stuck in problems. As your therapist, I will support you in envisioning what your life could look like without the difficulties you are currently facing. Together, we will explore your goals, identify exceptions to challenges, and highlight the skills and resources you already possess. I believe that even small changes can lead to significant progress, and I work collaboratively with clients to create realistic, achievable steps toward improvement. My solution-focused approach also includes helping clients develop healthy lifestyle habits, strengthen coping strategies, and increase confidence in their ability to manage future challenges. Sessions are goal-oriented, strengths-based, and designed to empower you to move forward with clarity and purpose. By focusing on solutions and possibilities, I aim to help you build momentum, experience success, and create lasting positive change in your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through my work in community mental health and have gained years of experience applying this evidence-based approach with diverse populations. CBT is a practical, structured method that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In our work together, I support clients in identifying unhelpful or negative thought patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress or unhealthy behaviors. I help clients examine how their thoughts influence their feelings and actions, and we work collaboratively to challenge and reshape thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs in ways that support healthier emotional regulation and decision-making. My approach to CBT is collaborative and personalized. I often incorporate skill-building techniques such as cognitive restructuring, problem-solving, stress management, and coping strategies to help clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I also encourage clients to practice new skills between sessions so they can build confidence and see progress in their daily lives. Through CBT, my goal is to empower clients with practical tools they can use long-term, helping them gain greater self-awareness, improve emotional balance, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

With over 11 years of clinical experience and professional training, I have incorporated mindfulness-based therapy into my work to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and surroundings. This approach focuses on increasing present-moment awareness so clients can better understand how their internal experiences and external environments influence their reactions and behaviors. In sessions, I guide clients in learning mindfulness skills that help them slow down, observe their thoughts without judgment, and respond to situations more intentionally rather than reacting automatically. By strengthening awareness, clients can begin to recognize unhelpful patterns, reduce impulsive or harmful reactions, and develop healthier habits over time. My mindfulness-based approach often includes techniques such as grounding exercises, breathing practices, body awareness, and guided reflection. These skills are especially helpful for managing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also encourage clients to practice mindfulness outside of sessions so they can build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate a greater sense of calm and balance in their daily lives.
