I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in stress and nervous system regulation, using somatic experiencing (SE), EMDR, and DBT. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and positive with a focus on strengths and resources. I give clients a personalized path to find relief, calm, release of tension, restoration of natural resilience, and a sense of peace.
Clients often say they feel safe, respected, and understood when working with me. My intake process is intentionally light to easily get a foundation and start working together.
My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a confident trust in the process from experience. I believe everyone holds the power to heal. I see everyday how the body is an ocean of transformative intelligence. Therapy is a living, dynamic process that flows and evolves moment-to-moment, making healing an ongoing, evolutionary journey. With the right kind of support, healing becomes not just possible but inevitable. I believe in the potential for every individual to reclaim their peace, power, and wholeness through the therapeutic process.
My clients are adults facing persistent stress and anxiety in work and relationships. They are ready to break free from patterns of tension and disconnection. They seek more than just to tolerate life; they desire deep, lasting change. They are individuals who value a holistic approach that integrates body, mind, and spirit. Many of my clients identify as creatives, intuitives, and those exploring their spirituality.
I completed the 3-year training and certification in Somatic Experiencing (SE) in 2016. Through organic conversation, I can observe subtle cues from a client's body that are signs of self-healing happening. I then bring greater awareness to the self-healing process to enhance its effects.
My training in EMDR includes completion of basic training, over 40 hours of advanced training, over 20 hours of consultation in complex cases, and EMDRIA's "Certification" status for advanced practice.
I had the privilege to weekly teach adolescent and adult DBT skills groups for well over 4 years. Emotion regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance are all fundamental life skills anyone can learn to support their healing journey!
