(she/her)
Hello, my name is Elsa. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia. As a LMFT with 29-years of experience my ethical standards and quality services have remained intact through the implementation of evidence-based practices. I have experience with working with individuals ages 0-12, teens and adults ages 18 and up and families. I am trained in several evidence-based trauma modalities which allows for the implementation of trauma work through any developmental lifespan.
During the initial session, the focus will be on completing assessment and treatment plan to ensure that you achieve your identified goals.
My approach consists of creating a collaborative environment with the individual or family in order to assess and gain understanding of the function of the individual or family's behavior prior to implementing an intervention or interventions.
My training in CPP, TF-CBT and TREM allows me to implement trauma focused treatment for ages 0-60 or older. Besides, the identified modalities, I also utilized CBT interventions to address symptoms of depression and anxiety.
My emphasis has been on supporting and providing quality services to the BIPOC community.
