Jerecia Lee
Hello, I’m Jerecia Lee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Georgia and Virginia and a registered telehealth provider in South Carolina and Delaware. For more than 10 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I am a solution focused therapist that provides person centered care utilizing cognitive behavioral and trauma informed techniques.
I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. My approach is person-centered, solution-focused, trauma-informed, and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe healing is a journey, and my goal is to partner with you as you move from feeling stuck to living with greater confidence, resilience, and purpose.
First session
In our first session, we will review the intake assessment, get to know each other, discuss the concerns that you would like to focus on in therapy, and identify what your goals are.
Strengths
I have worked in this field for over ten years with various populations and issues. I have learned the importance of creating a nonjudgement safe space, meeting the client where they are, gently encouraging them to move out of their comfort zone, and being part of their support system as they go through this journey. While introducing evidenced-based techniques I believe it is important to understand the individual's culture norms and nuances that may be barriers for them and help the individual work through this.
Ideal clients
I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing distress within their relationships—whether that relationship is with yourself, your family, your partner, your peers, or within the workplace. I understand how unhealthy or challenging relationship dynamics can impact your emotional well-being, confidence, and overall quality of life. I work best with individuals who are ready to gain clarity, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, establish healthier boundaries, and take actionable steps toward creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives and relationships.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have used a combination of CBT, Solution Focused, and Strength based approaches throughout my career to help individuals resolve their identified concerns. While evaluating your current thought patterns and actions, we will use your strengths to introduce new ways to view and resolve your identified concerns.
