The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest strength is being my authentic self, connecting and joining with clients, and helping them feel supported and understood. I enjoy educating my clients by providing examples, psychoeducation, practice, active and reflective listening skills, and challenging them to be the version of themselves they prefer.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my work as a therapist, I consistently integrate person-centered skills and techniques to create a safe and accepting space for clients. One of the most essential elements I bring into every session is unconditional positive regard—truly valuing each individual without judgment. This helps clients feel accepted for who they are, which is often the foundation for meaningful change. I also rely heavily on active listening. I don’t just hear what’s being said—I listen with the intention of understanding the client’s internal world. I reflect feelings, paraphrase thoughts, and check for understanding to ensure clients feel seen and heard. Empathy is at the core of my approach. I aim to deeply connect with the client’s emotional experience, not just intellectually, but emotionally. When clients feel that level of understanding, it often leads to greater openness and trust. By trusting the client’s capacity for growth I help create the conditions where healing naturally unfolds.
