Hello, I’m Miguel Sanchez, a doctoral candidate, certified clinical trauma professional and your bilingual (English/Spanish) virtual therapist for all residents in Texas. My goal is to support young adults and adults in navigating life’s challenges, whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress, or anything else. I’m here to help you through it. I can't wait to be a part of your journey!
In our first session, we’ll start with a friendly introduction and then dive into getting to know you and your unique story. Together, we’ll identify your biggest challenges and develop a personalized plan to help you become the person you aspire to be.
My greatest strength lies in my ability to connect with clients in a way that makes them feel truly seen and heard. I aim for our sessions to feel like a natural, supportive conversation where we work together to navigate the challenges you're facing. My hope is that, as we collaborate, you'll feel empowered to make decisions that enhance your mental health and experience meaningful progress in your life.
If you've ever felt overwhelmed by worry, struggled with constant stress, or found yourself always on alert, I'm here to help. I specialize in supporting young adults and adults who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma/PTSD. My approach is compassionate and tailored to your unique needs, and I'm always open to assisting anyone who is looking for support on their mental health journey. You're not alone—I'm here to guide you toward a healthier, more balanced life.
Miguel Sanchez offers therapy covered by Parkland Community Health Plan - Medicaid and UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Texas.
In our sessions, we’ll start with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As we move forward, I’ll bring in other approaches that best fit your unique needs—making sure our work together truly supports your goals and overall well-being.
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we’ll explore your emotions together—how they shape your decisions, impact your sense of self, and show up in your daily life. Along the way, we’ll build awareness and develop healthy ways to navigate and manage those stronger feelings with more confidence and clarity.
With a background in trauma work, I take a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes understanding your unique experiences and needs. This helps us create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and focused on what matters most to you—working together toward your goals with care and respect.
