PMHNP, 25 years of experience
Our mental health provider has been in the rewarding field of medicine for over 25 years. She is nationally board-certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse experience in mental health, primary care, and critical and emergency care provides for the treatment of the "whole patient." This means she can offer mental health assessment and treatment that considers each client's unique medical history, emotional health, history of traumatic experiences, romantic relationships, family relationships, and current living situation. These factors can have serious effects on a person’s overall health and quality of life. Her practice offers private, compassionate, individualized mental health assessment, diagnosis, and medication management services. In addition, she is always accessible via secure text messaging tool for questions or concerns about your care, with a response within 24-48 hours.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.

The appointments often start 10-15 minutes late, but are usually over in only five. It's nice that they're quick though sometimes I don't get to everything I want to say because it's so fast. Otherwise I do feel very heard, if I ask questions I get an informed answer and if I ask if we can try something, changes to medication, testing for something, I don't meet a lot of pushback. I get a lot of control over my treatment and that's very reassuring.
