New to Grow
I am a kind, empathetic person who takes an active role in listening to others and providing guiding feedback. I received my Master's in Advanced Clinical Social Work at Columbia University in New York and worked with families and individuals at the Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, CT. I now specialize in Adult and Couples work surrounding major life stressors and transitions, and am an LBGTQ+ Ally.
I pride myself and creating an environment where everyone can be their authentic self, feel safe to express their thoughts and be their guide in navigating challenging times in their lives.
My greatest strengths are my empathy centered approach to life and therapy, sense of humor and directness, combined with active listening and the ability to attune to the needs of my clients.
I specialize in working with both individuals and couples. I take an approached focused on healthy communication and attachment-based therapy. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT in working with individuals and symptoms of anxiety and stress.
In my practice, I utilize Cognitive behavioral therapy to assist clients with challenging anxious thoughts and reframing their beliefs about themselves and the world.
