Hi! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Masters degree from the University of Toledo and I have been practicing for 2 years. I help individuals struggling with different mental health disorders manage their symptoms in order to live a functioning and happy life. I utilize evidence based practice to determine if medication would be appropriate for management of your symptoms. In some cases, I may provide some adjunct, but limited Individual Therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first together we will start with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation to make the sure we are making the most accurate diagnosis. We will make sure to address the most challenging issues you are facing and come up with potential interventions for management of your symptoms. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I possess strong clinical skills and a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. In addition to medication management, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), culturally sensitive, emotionally-focused, motivational interviewing, and person-centered techniques into treatment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients that ready to be heard and are willing to allow help to be given. My clients are eager and motivated to get their symptoms under control and live their best life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has helped many of clients learn effective ways of challenging reoccurring and negative thoughts to better manage their anxiety symptoms. We can use CBT to identify how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other.
