Hello there! My name is Gregory. Are you struggling with anxiety? Moodiness? Restlessness? Feeling down? Can't focus? I'd love to work with you to see if we can find solutions together. My main goal is to help YOU decide a mental health treatment that will be safe and most effective for you. My role is not to simply prescribe medication. My role is to be your collaborator and resource for information about medication options and prescribe them as appropriate! One of the biggest complaints or worries clients have is that their mental health provider will not listen to them. I want to hear your thoughts, your feelings, and your story. I used evidence-based practice medication management as well as motivational interviewing for empowerment of clients.
I have years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment with both children and adults. Most of my career has been in community mental health, so I take factors like cost greatly into account when discussing different medication options.
I am comfortable with clients across the lifespan. I've treated kids as young as five and as old as 91. I have listed the disorders I am most comfortable treating in specialties.

I could not recommend Dr. Claxton enough! I just finished my first appointment with him and feel very hopeful with the treatment plan provided. He's warm, welcoming, and very easy to talk to.
