New to Grow
Hi, my name is Patrick Anderson. I am located in Florida. I have four years experience as a mental health counselor. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults and families. I graduated from the University of South Florida (BA), and Nova Southeastern University (MS). I am certified in CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Internal Family Systems. My focal points in therapy are with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Life Adjustments. I am available after hours, weekends and I am flexible.
Our first session will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you here. We will explore your primary concerns and the challenges that feel most pressing in your life right now. Building a comfortable, trusting relationship is central to our work together, so there is no rush — your pace matters. I will also gather a fuller picture of your life through a biopsychosocial assessment, exploring how biological, psychological, and social factors are shaping your experience. This holistic approach helps me understand not just your struggles, but the whole person behind them, so we can create a meaningful path forward.
My greatest strength is relating to the client and meeting them where they are.
I am best positioned to serve adolescents and young adults who are navigating the complexities of identity, self-discovery, and life transitions. My ideal clients are those grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the pressures of academic and social expectations. They may feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or stuck, yet carry a desire for growth and change. I work well with young people who are open to exploring their emotions, building self-awareness, and developing healthier coping strategies. Whether they are facing family conflict, self-esteem struggles, or simply trying to find their place in the world, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to help them thrive.
