LMFT, 13 years of experience
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 13 years of experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relational stress. I take an integrative, compassion-focused approach, combining evidence-based strategies to help you explore patterns affecting self-esteem, communication, and emotional well-being. Together, we work to uncover insights, develop practical coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change aligned with your values and goals.
In our first session, we’ll start with introductions, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the therapy process—especially if this is your first time starting therapy. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and confident in taking this step. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you stress or uncertainty and outline your goals, so I can start tailoring a plan that fits your unique needs and pace.
My approach is integrative, meaning I pull from different therapy methods to find what works best for you. I tend to look at the bigger picture—how your relationships, environment, and past experiences shape what you’re feeling today. Clients describe my style as compassionate and grounded. I help you make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck and support you in building new ways of thinking, relating, and caring for yourself.
I work best with adults who are ready to better understand themselves and break out of old cycles—whether that’s overthinking, burnout, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries. I help clients who are navigating anxiety, stress, trauma recovery, and life transitions learn to approach themselves and their relationships with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models to best meet each client’s unique needs. I combine relational and cognitive-behavioral perspectives to explore how your thoughts, emotions, and environments interact. Together, we uncover the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build strategies that promote balance, growth, and alignment with your values and life goals.
Starting therapy is a big and brave step. My approach is rooted in compassion—creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and free to be honest about what you’re going through. Compassion often becomes the foundation for healing, helping you build self-acceptance and a sense of safety within yourself. Through a compassion-focused approach, I'll be meeting you where you are, without judgment—because compassion often opens the door to healing and self-acceptance.
I completed EMDR training in 2022 and incorporate this approach when appropriate to help clients work through past experiences, trauma, or memories that contribute to current stress, anxiety, or emotional struggles. EMDR can often accelerate healing and reduce symptoms in a shorter timeframe.
I often integrate CBT techniques to help you identify patterns of thinking that contribute to stress, anxiety, or self-doubt. Together, we work on building practical tools for managing these thoughts, developing emotional awareness, and creating new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
I incorporate mindfulness strategies to help you reconnect with your body and emotions in the present moment. These skills can improve focus, reduce anxiety, and help you feel more grounded in daily life.
