Are you experiencing difficulties coping with your everyday stressors? Do you need someone to talk to who would help you process the event that is affecting you and develop the coping skills necessary to handle the difficult feelings you are experiencing as a result? As a therapist, I use my training in psychology and in education to help individuals develop healthy perceptions of themselves and learn the coping skills necessary to navigate today's stressors. My educational background includes a doctorate from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida, a Masters degree in Education from University of Florida and a Bachelors degree from Tulane University. I look forward to speaking to you.
During our first session, we will focus on identifying the situation that is challenging to you, the strategies you have implemented to make yourself feel better (if any) and receive information on how I can assist you.
Clients have told me that I am warm and possess good listening skills.
My clients need someone they can trust to discuss challenging issues and are ready to learn and implement the skills they need to improve their emotional and behavioral functioning.
