I'm glad you are here, it is often difficult to take that first step. My philosophy is that in an instant, life can change -- bringing about shock, pain and interruption to our day-to-day routine. Even a seemingly positive change can cause feelings of overwhelm, loneliness and a sense of feeling lost. Help is needed to deal with these new feelings. As a result, I will work collaboratively in telehealth sessions with you to restore or bring about serenity. SPECIALTIES: other people's addiction; other people's mental illness, retirement, transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, vocational counseling, Cisgender but family-friendly. Worked all my life with both clients and co-workers of color, long history of working with US Veterans, very comfortable with diversity and people with under-represented spiritual beliefs.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

The most important treatment method is to listen to YOU. Secondly, I am skilled at the most used methods such as CBT, DBT, Gestalt, and the standard methods.

While the most important treatment method is to listen to you, the most important skill is empathy, the skill of really feeling and understanding the pain, confusion, anger, and doubt that people often start therapy having.
