I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based out of Michigan. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from Albion College and my master's degree from Wayne State University. I have over 14 years of experience working with adults. My approach is collaborative. I strive to assist clients in gaining a deeper insight into challenging and changing their thought processes. I look forward to exploring this journey with you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, we will begin by exploring background information that is important for me to know to get a better understanding of you. This is your time, and I want you to get the most out of that together. We will end in discussing what your goals are for therapy and how I can be a part of your journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I strive to be understanding, non-judgmental and unbiased in session. I provide a strong sense of support.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with individuals experiencing transitions in life, relationship dynamics, and increased anxiety. I strive to teach new coping strategies and lend a listening ear.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Trained in CBT, I use this throughout our time together in sessions. Working on challenging negative thinking patterns.
Strength-Based
I believe a strengths-based approach helps facilitate client's progress in sessions.
