New to Grow
Hi, my name is Quaneisha. I have over four years of experience in the mental health field, providing counseling and support to clients ranging in age from 5 to 60. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in 2021. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to reach their goals. For those who desire a faith-based approach, I am happy to incorporate Christian principles into our work together. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I tailor treatment to meet each client's unique needs. I have experience helping individuals navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship challenges, values exploration, and self-esteem concerns. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.
During your first session, we will discuss what you can expect throughout the therapy process, review the limits of confidentiality, explore your biopsychosocial history, and talk about what has brought you to therapy. This initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and develop a plan that supports your goals.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my approach to therapy is a balance of providing a safe, supportive space for you to share your story while validating your thoughts and feelings. At the same time, I will gently challenge you to grow, develop new perspectives, and move beyond your comfort zone in ways that support your personal goals and healing.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore and process the barriers that may be preventing them from moving forward and becoming the healthiest version of themselves. Whether you're navigating past experiences, current challenges, or life transitions, I am committed to supporting you as you work toward meaningful growth, healing, and lasting change. My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in their personal growth and healing and is looking for a supportive partner throughout that journey.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore patterns that may be preventing them from living in alignment with their goals and values, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to improve overall well-being, daily functioning, and relationships.
