Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2021 after several years working with women, children, and families in community-based agencies. My approach is humanistic, trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and grounded in attachment theory. Using a strengths-based approach I use narrative, solution-focused, nature, integrative therapies, mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork. Although we will be meeting virtually, I encourage people to get outside as often as possible!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Life can be very challenging and I am dedicated to supporting you in your healing. You are seen and heard without judgment as you heal from the complexities of life and are empowered to move through the process of change and growth at your pace. We’ll collaborate to identify goals to work towards while developing self-awareness, self-compassion, and coping skills.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I was drawn to social services in 1996 out of a desire to not only help others, but to access the resources I needed to help myself heal. I have a personal understanding of what it takes to pull yourself up out of darkness and learn the skills to heal, grow, and move forward to a happy and stable life. Trust me - you can feel better. If you are here, you're already using your innate strength to take the first step to relief.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

While it is very important to talk things out, process, explore, and even vent, eventually we need a solution for our suffering! I'll help you find strengths you may not have realized you had and reframe negative self-beliefs that interfere with your growth so you can work towards resolving any conflicts and discomfort you may be struggling with. I have an eclectic approach, meaning I incorporate a variety of methods depending on what is most relevant for you. Everything is based on your strengths as an individual first so you know you have what it takes to heal.
