About me

Hi, I’m Dr. Lynne Santiago, a licensed mental health counselor with over 30 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life’s transitions with compassion and clarity. My approach is grounded in Integrative Psychotherapy, which means I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods—tailoring each session to meet your unique needs, values, and goals. I specialize in Integrative psychotherapy, Spiritually Integrative Therapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and betrayal trauma in relationships, offering a safe and supportive space for deep healing and transformation. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, or relationship challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and expertise. As an Army veteran and former federal employee, I understand the complexities of trauma, identity shifts, and life after service. My personal and professional journey has shaped a practice that honors resilience, growth, and the power of conscious choice. I also offer couples therapy through my Love Evolved programs, including the Power Couple Challenge and The Loving Exit, designed to help partners either deepen their bond or part with grace. These programs reflect my belief that love can evolve—even through conflict, change, or separation. If you’re ready to explore healing, growth, or a new chapter in your life or relationship, I’d be honored to support you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is a 90-minute-deep dive into you. It’s called a Biopsychosocial Assessment (BPSA)—but don’t worry, it’s really just a thoughtful, guided conversation where we explore what’s going on in your life, what’s brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your personal and relationship history, any past therapy experiences, and how things like stress, health, and support systems are showing up for you. I want to get a full picture—not just of the challenges, but also your strengths, values, and goals. This session is relaxed and collaborative. You don’t need to prepare anything or have all the answers. Just come as you are. My job is to listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and help you start connecting the dots. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, this first session helps us lay the groundwork for your healing journey. If you’re interested in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) or couples work, we’ll also talk about what that process looks like and whether it’s a good fit for you. For couples, I may meet with each partner individually before we begin joint sessions, depending on your needs. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a clearer sense of what’s going on beneath the surface and a personalized plan for moving forward. Most importantly, you’ll know you’re not alone—and that you’ve got someone in your corner.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me good at what I do isn’t just my training—it’s the life I’ve lived and the people I’ve walked alongside over the past 30+ years. I’ve worked with individuals and couples through some of their hardest moments, and I’ve learned that healing doesn’t happen in a straight line. It’s messy, personal, and deeply human. That’s why I take an integrative approach to therapy—pulling from different methods and modalities to meet you exactly where you are. One of my biggest strengths is creating a space where people feel safe to be real. I’m not here to judge or fix you. I’m here to listen, reflect, and help you reconnect with your own strength and clarity. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship struggles, I show up with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your journey. I also bring a unique perspective as an Army veteran and former federal employee. I understand what it’s like to go through major transitions, identity shifts, and the emotional weight that can come with service and change. That lived experience helps me connect with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like they’ve lost touch with themselves. In addition to traditional therapy, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Spiritually Integrative Therapy—powerful tools for clients who want to go deeper and explore healing beyond just talk. These approaches can be especially helpful for those dealing with treatment-resistant depression, trauma, or existential questions. I also work with couples through my Love Evolved programs, helping partners either grow stronger together or part ways with grace. I believe love can evolve, and I help couples navigate that evolution with honesty and care. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m here to walk with you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

The clients I’m best positioned to serve are adults and couples who are navigating significant transitions, emotional pain, or relationship challenges—and who are ready to do the deep, meaningful work of healing and growth. Many of my clients are high-functioning, insightful individuals who have spent years caring for others, succeeding professionally, or managing life’s demands, yet feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed internally. You may be someone who’s asking: “Is this all there is?” or “How did I get so far from myself or my partner?” You might be facing a crossroads in your relationship, struggling with betrayal trauma, or trying to decide whether to stay or part ways. You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, or PTSD that hasn’t responded to traditional therapy or medication. Or perhaps you’re seeking a more spiritually grounded approach to healing—one that honors your inner wisdom and life experience. I work especially well with clients who are open to exploring both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of their healing. You don’t need to have a specific belief system—just a willingness to reflect deeply, be curious, and engage in a process that integrates mind, body, and spirit. I also support clients who are interested in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a way to access deeper emotional insight and healing, especially when traditional talk therapy hasn’t been enough. For couples, my ideal clients are those who are committed to growth—whether that means strengthening their bond or consciously uncoupling with respect and clarity. Through my Love Evolved programs, including the Power Couple Challenge and The Loving Exit, I help partners communicate more effectively, reconnect with shared values, and make empowered decisions about their future. If you’re ready to move beyond survival mode, reconnect with your truth, and create meaningful change in your life or relationship, I’d be honored to support you.
