Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I help people identify and challenge negative thought patterns contributing to their anxiety. If a client often thinks catastrophically about future events, I might guide them to explore evidence supporting more realistic, positive outcomes. I introduce behavioral interventions, encouraging clients to gradually confront feared situations to build resilience. In my sessions, I collaboratively set achievable goals and monitor progress. Through this process, clients learn to reframe thoughts, modify behaviors, and develop coping strategies, empowering them to manage anxiety effectively.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) I work with a clients who struggles with intense mood swings and difficulty regulating emotions. In DBT, I introduce skills training to enhance emotional regulation. I guide the client through mindfulness exercises, helping them become more aware of their emotions without judgment. Additionally, I teach distress tolerance techniques to cope with overwhelming emotions, such as using self-soothing strategies or distraction techniques. With addressing interpersonal challenges, a I coach the client on effective communication skills through role-playing scenarios. The ultimate goal is to help them build a life worth living by fostering self-acceptance, improving relationships, and managing emotions more effectively through the multifaceted approach of DBT.
