I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He has been working in the mental health field since 1996. His undergraduate training was at Carson-Newman College with a degree in psychology. He received his master’s degree in nursing which he completed at UNC Chapel Hill. He became employed at Carolina Behavioral Care in 2018. I work with clients ages 5 and older.

My clinical interests include treating psychiatric and substance abuse patients across the life spectrum. His clinical practice includes psychopharmacology and psychotherapy services. He is interested in a holistic approach to patient care including dealing with nutritional, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction strategies to improve overall mental health conditions. Mr. Bowman’s clinical style has been described as friendly, conversational, and engaging.
