I’m a licensed psychotherapist with 12 years of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping people navigate low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, and the impact of racism-based trauma. I provide a collaborative, culturally responsive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming space where you can safely explore your story and heal. Together, we’ll uncover how your thoughts and perceptions influence your emotions and behaviors, and we’ll use your unique strengths as a foundation for growth. My goal is to empower you with practical tools and deeper self-understanding so you can create lasting change.
Our first meeting is a welcoming, collaborative intake session. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, gather some background information, and explore the concerns or challenges you’d like to address. Together, we’ll identify specific goals and begin creating a plan tailored to your needs, so you leave the session with a clear sense of next steps and how we’ll work toward meaningful change.
Most techniques used in therapy with me are specific to cognitive behavioral therapy. Although methods are catered to your strengths I often use; psychoeducation, thought records, imagery based exposure, mindfulness and relaxation training.
Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard and supported in our work together. I bring a calm, grounding presence and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. My greatest strengths include creating a safe, non-judgmental space, helping people uncover and challenge patterns that no longer serve them, and guiding them toward practical skills that build confidence and resilience. I balance gentle curiosity with clear, empowering feedback, so you can explore difficult experiences while moving toward the changes you want to see.
If you’re motivated to make positive shifts in your life, I’m here to walk with you on that journey. Whether you’re facing a major life change or simply feel ready for something different, therapy can be a powerful step toward the life you want.
