LCPC, 12 years of experience
I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to change. Do you struggle with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, life changes/transitions, racism-based trauma, difficulty setting boundaries or relationship stress? I seek to provide a space for growth and healing where you can safely share vulnerable parts of your life. I have 12 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in numerous levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient therapy programs. I will work with you by educating and empowering you. I will team up with you to show how your perceptions influence your behaviors. I am culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and will use your strengths to help you in your healing journey.
After your first session I will work with you to explore what is holding you back from mental wellness. I will reflect with you on the issues presented and then together we will create a plan of action to promote healing and growth. Psychoeducation will be provided to support you in maintaining wellness on your own.
Most techniques used in therapy with me are specific to cognitive behavioral therapy. Although methods are catered to your strengths I often use; psychoeducation, thought records, imagery based exposure, mindfulness and relaxation training.
I specialize in working with individuals with mood disorders, anxiety/stress, and relationship issues. I also work well with young adults and professionals.

I feel extremely secure and accepted in the presence of Ms. Breann. I can openly share my thoughts without any reservations. She is exceptionally kind and empathetic! I have gained valuable insights about myself and how to cultivate healthy coping strategies for my future.

My first session was very positive. I felt heard and understood by Breann and she created a safe space for me to openly share my thoughts and feelings. I left feeling hopeful about the potential for progress in therapy and am looking forward to our next session."
