About me

I am a compassionate and authentic therapist who believes that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, creating a safe space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment. I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. I specialize in supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional regulation. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused interventions to help clients process painful experiences, develop healthier coping skills, and reconnect with their sense of self. My style is compassionate yet practical. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but about helping people understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and create meaningful change. I value honesty, curiosity, and meeting each client where they are in their healing journey. Through my own life experiences, I understand that life can bring unexpected challenges, loss, and moments when we question our ability to move forward. These experiences have deepened my empathy and strengthened my commitment to helping others feel less alone in their struggles. My goal is to walk alongside my clients as they build resilience, gain confidence, and create a life that feels more aligned with who they truly are. You do not have to navigate your healing journey alone.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, your goals, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will learn more about your experiences, strengths, and areas where you feel stuck while we begin creating a personalized plan for your healing. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. I will also share how approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy may support your goals. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and supported as we take the first steps toward meaningful change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring compassion, authenticity, and a genuine desire to understand each client’s unique story. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and accepted without judgment. My strengths include being empathetic, present, and able to meet clients where they are while also helping them recognize their own resilience and strengths. I bring a trauma-informed and collaborative approach, combining evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and other supportive strategies to help clients work through challenges and create meaningful change. I believe healing happens through connection, trust, and feeling truly heard.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who feels ready to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change in their life. They may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, self-worth, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in patterns they want to break. They are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing healthier coping skills and a stronger connection with themselves. They may not have all the answers, but they are willing to take small steps toward growth and healing. I work best with clients who are looking for a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where they can feel safe being their authentic selves. Together, we can focus on building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and creating a life that feels more aligned with their values and goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and practice coping strategies to manage anxiety, stress, depression, and life challenges. My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping clients build lasting skills for change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients develop skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and increasing self-awareness. Together, we focus on mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication to help clients navigate challenges with greater confidence and balance.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process and heal from distressing experiences that may continue to impact their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Through a structured and supportive process, we work together to reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories, build healthier beliefs, and help clients feel more empowered in the present.
