I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training in anxiety, grief, and loss. Since earning my Master of Arts in Counseling from Central Michigan University in 2020, I have dedicated my practice to supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. My focus includes addressing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, grief, school/employment-related concerns, and family or relationship issues. I serve a diverse range of clients, offering a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space for them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. By utilizing an eclectic approach to therapy, I tailor my methods to meet each individual’s unique needs, blending humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and grief counseling techniques. This allows me to support clients in building self-awareness, developing effective coping strategies, and achieving meaningful personal growth. The impact of my work lies in empowering clients to take control of their mental health and well-being. Clients often leave sessions feeling heard, validated, and better equipped to manage stress, overcome obstacles, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. For those experiencing grief or loss, I guide them through the healing process, helping them find ways to honor their experiences and build resilience. My ultimate goal is to help individuals uncover their strengths and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where they can share as much or as little as they feel comfortable. We’ll start by getting to know each other, discussing what brought them to therapy, and exploring their goals or hopes for the process. I’ll ask some questions to better understand their background, experiences, and current challenges, while also allowing plenty of time for them to ask questions and share their thoughts. By the end of the session, my aim is for clients to feel heard, supported, and confident about taking this first step toward growth and healing.
My greatest strengths as a provider are creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. I focus on building trust and working together to help clients meet their goals.
Humanistic therapy focuses on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and accepted. I achieve this by fostering a strong therapeutic relationship based on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. In session clients will explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors at their own pace, leading to deeper self-understanding and personal empowerment. Clients leave feeling seen, heard, and validated.
integrate techniques from multiple therapeutic approaches to best meet the unique needs of each client by combining elements of cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies. This flexibility allows me to draw on the most effective strategies for my client.
I provide a compassionate and supportive space for clients to process their loss at their own pace. By combining empathy, active listening, and tailored coping strategies, I help individuals navigate their emotions, honor their experiences, and find ways to move forward while maintaining a connection to what they’ve lost.
