(she/her)
I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)–prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing focused, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults managing substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. I specialize in working with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or have not experienced consistent progress with prior treatment. My approach is structured and goal-oriented, beginning with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, followed by personalized medication management and ongoing support to promote stability and long-term functioning. Clients can expect a clear plan, practical guidance, and a collaborative approach to care. I prioritize timely access to services, with new clients typically seen within 1–3 business days. All visits are conducted via secure telehealth for convenience and privacy.
During your first session, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand your current concerns, symptoms, history, and goals for treatment. I will ask questions about your mood, anxiety, sleep, medical history, and any substance use, as well as past treatments and what has or has not worked for you. We will also discuss what you are hoping to gain from care. Based on this, I will provide initial impressions, review treatment options, and, if appropriate, discuss medication recommendations. You can expect a structured, supportive, and collaborative conversation. There is no pressure; this is a space to feel heard and begin developing a clear plan forward. By the end of the session, we will outline the next steps, including follow-up and ongoing care.
My greatest strengths are providing clear, structured care and supporting individuals with both substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and goal-focused. I take time to understand your experience and ensure you leave each session with clarity, a plan, and realistic next steps. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive strategies to help you stay engaged and moving forward. I work especially well with individuals who feel stuck or have not found consistent progress in the past, helping them build stability and meaningful, lasting change.
My ideal client is an adult managing substance use alongside anxiety, depression, ADHD, or mood instability who is ready for a structured, consistent approach to care. They may feel overwhelmed or have had limited success with prior treatment and are now looking for clear direction and meaningful change. They are open to medication management when appropriate and value accountability, follow-through, and a collaborative partnership. I am best positioned to support individuals who are ready to engage in the process, commit to regular follow-up, and work toward stabilization, improved functioning, and long-term progress.
